A lake-front, whisper-quiet, Tremblant getaway
Curl up with a book in front of the fire; relax on the dock or go for a kayak or swim; hike/snowshoe le sentier Montagne Verte; ski/MTB Mont Tremblant; cook delicious food with friends/sample the region's restaurants; revel in the fall colours or walk/bike Le Petit Train du Nord. There is something for everyone!
We are located in the heart of the Tremblant region of the Laurentides, less than 2 hrs from Ottawa or 1.5 hrs from Montreal, and a literal stone’s throw from the popular Sentier de la Montagne Verte (named one of the region's top 5 'Fall Colours' hikes by Tremblant Express). Close enough that everything feels easy to get to when you want to be in the thick of things (15mins to the old village, 20 mins to ski hill). Far enough that you feel surrounded by nature and a million miles away from the hustle and bustle the rest of the time.
Nestled less than 20 feet from the shore of a gorgeous, sparsely populated and whisper-quiet lake, the chalet is a large, open-concept and newly built 4-season family-friendly chalet that easily accommodates 6 people with sleeping and generous, family friendly living spaces on two floors (a crib is also available for children). The main floor is a large open space with huge lake-facing windows and patio doors that make it feel like the chalet is moored in the water. The entrance foyer flows into a large living room (with wood burning fireplace), dining area, and open concept kitchen with a very large island (often the main gathering point for meals), all of which is bordered by a 350 sq ft screened-in verandah (with another dining area and lots of space to chat, lounge and nap). The main floor also includes the main bedroom and bathroom. The lower res-de-jardin level is equally bright and open with windows and patio doors spanning the entire lake-facing side of the chalet. It includes a second bathroom and bedroom, as well as a very large common living area with several sofa-beds and sitting areas, as well as a second fireplace and an electric massage chair for activity weary relaxation! Outside, the many sitting and garden areas, as well as the two large docks literally steps from the chalet, offer ample space to enjoy the lake, forest and mountain settings - either together with others or in your own little private slice of nature.
Directly from the chalet:
Kayak, canoe, SUP, swim, fish, bike/walk Le Petit Train du Nord (all the way to the old village, the ski hill, and beyond), skate,
